In 1978, Faro opened his first pizza parlor. Faro opened seven more pizza shops in the area between this time and 1987. Faro sold the franchise in 1990 with the intention of returning to Sicily and living there permanently. Circumstances changed, and the family returned to Grand Rapids, as they often do.

Faro returned to the restaurant business in 1996, when he opened Uccello’s Ristorante Pizzeria & Sports Lounge on East Beltline. In the last 23 years, Uccello’s Ristorante has officially opened six locations, the most recent being Downtown Grand Rapids across from Rosa Parks Circle.

Faro was not content to stop there. Uccello’s Hospitality Group expanded in 2016 when Herb & Fire Pizzeria, a fast-casual concept, opened in Grandville. UHG has since opened a second location near Celebration! Cinema North on East Beltline.

Faro’s personal philosophy has inspired Uccello’s Hospitality Group to grow into eight successful locations: “Always strive to give your guest more than they would normally expect. Provide people the opportunity to enjoy great food and the hospitality to match. You must always strive to be better in everything, and never compromise on top quality in any area”.

There is no physical gift card to carry around or lose. They only offer gift certificate that they keep in each restaurant.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IF YOU HAVE A GIFT CARD WITHOUT A PIN?

You can not use the gift card without a pin.
